Sam Hensel
Sam Hensel joined Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy in 2024 as an Associate. Before joining the firm, Sam was a law clerk and then associate attorney for another law firm in Chicago that represents unions and workers before becoming a Staff Attorney at a large, predominantly public sector labor union in Chicago. Sam represented that union in numerous arbitrations, in unfair labor practice and representation proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and Illinois’s public sector labor relations boards, in court, and other forums. He has also conducted trainings for union stewards and staff and advised on internal union affairs governed by federal law.
Sam also has experience in representing Taft-Hartley funds in collection proceedings, as well as representing individual employees in wage and hour and other claims.
