DYLAN KOSSON

Dylan Kosson joined Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, P.C. in 2023. Before joining the firm, Dylanworked for five years in-house at a large labor union representing federal employees, where hehandled a wide variety of cases concerning collective bargaining, employee discipline, contractgrievances, and a host of issues affecting workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. His work as in-house counsel also made him experienced in subjects of union administration such as unionelections, constitutions, membership drives, and internal union discipline.

Patrick J. Foote

Patrick J. Foote joined Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy in 2021. Before joining the firm, Patrick worked as a legal fellow in the General Counsel’s Office of the AFL-CIO. There, Patrick contributed to the AFL-CIO’s amicus brief in the Supreme Court case Cedar Point Nursery v. Hassid, as well as to multiple amicus briefs before the National Labor Relations Board.

Carlie Diserio

Carlie W. Diserio joined Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy in August 2023. Carlie graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in May 2023 with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law. While in law school, she served as the President of the Labor and Employment Law Society, President of the Democratic Law Caucus, Vice President of the West Virginia Employment Lawyers Association, and Vice President of the American Civil Liberties Union Student Chapter. She was the recipient of the ABA-Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.

Michael H. Slutsky

Michael H. Slutsky is a founding shareholder of Allison, Slutsky & Kennedy, P.C. Mike transitioned to Of-Counsel status effective January 1, 2021. He has practiced law since 1978, concentrating in union-side labor law, individual employment law, and litigation.

Karen I. Engelhardt

Since 1980, Karen Engelhardt has been involved in promoting justice and fairness for her clients. Karen’s career began representing low income individuals as a staff attorney at Cook County Legal Assistance Foundation.
